Capt. John LUCHKA - Long Run Fishing Charters

Captain John Luchka of Long Run Fishing Charters is a USCG Licensed Master and simply one of the most dedicated sport fishing guides in the metropolitan region. He has been fishing the Western Long Island Sound for over 24 years. He does numerous seminars throughout the year at many of the regional boat and sportsman shows.

His articles have appeared in New Jersey Angler Magazine, Saltwater Sportsman, Striped Bass, Fisherman, and Nor'east magazines.

Captain John is a member of numerous pro-staffs including Team Yamaha. He is a Striped bass trolling expert and has caught countless trophy bass while trolling spoons and other artificial lures. His tournament trails allow his and his teammates to compete in both inshore and offshore events from New Jersey through Maine. John also participates in the FLW and ASA Striped Bass and is always there to assist fellow anglers with his support and expertise.
